"I have been working with Mike Yates for many years. I primarily use them for auto and home insurance. I found them to be very proactive in their approach. What I mean by proactive is, they are the first to contact me to make sure the insurance premiums were something that we could afford (in the recent past the premiums have been going up sharply) and what they could do make necessary adjustments to the policy to make sure we have appropriate amount of coverage and the premium was affordable. More recently I had the need to explore business related insurance options. I reached out to Mike's agency and got in touch with Kyle Nyce. He was just as professional as you can expect and helped answer all questions related to the business insurance. He even helped me compare quotes and suggested additional quotes that I should get before deciding on the policy that's right for us. "I made an over-payment to Mike's agency using an automated billing service which caused me a cash flow problem right at Christmas time! I called Mike's agency on Christmas Eve day, and HE not only answered the phone, but also immediately began to resolve the issue. As it turned out, he said my bank would not email the information State Farm needed to process my refund for security reasons, so he said it would be better if he picked it up at my house. On New Year's Eve???? He picked up the information he needed and sent me an email this morning that all was in place and that my refund should be processed soon. I am new with Mike's agency and State Farm, and just thought you should know what happened and how happy I am to be a client. "I could not ever reach an affordable price despite giving up personal info to allow tracking to try to lower my rate. Do not recommend if you have any previous problems in your background. This insurance counts on people to have 0 issues ever, and if you have even 1 issue while on their policy they will upcharge you 100s of $. $557 a month is ridiculous, regardless of the driver's background. I offically will spend my time convincing others why to never use Statefarm again because of my own personal experience. Yet again, this is another example of corporations taking advantage of everyday people, while acting like they do us a service or 'keep us safe'. So do me a service, and don't buy no Statefarm insurance now or ever. No comment from Statefarm can justify the $7k a year these frauds are asking for me just to cover my car insurance as a single man. Dont use these jokers, the big boys want big money. Use Bristol West or Safe2go unless you have a picture perfect record. Do not recommend."
